Welcome to our 41st Strawberry Festival.
It is a magical time in our quaint,medieval town of Enniscorthy,overlooking the River Slaney.
County Wexford has had many visitors over the years,from the Vikings to the Normans,
who liked it so much,they built a castle here.
So ours is a traditional, historical and cultural town,and we hope to become
acquainted with you over the festive weekend.

The Strawberry Festival has always been a home-coming for relations abroad,
and an opportunity for locals and visitors to become friends.
Its our childrens first colourful family memory,with music,funfairs,
and of course, fresh strawberries and cream.
We have many Exhibitions and Sporting Events,as well as battle re-enactments.

Once again the festival kicks
off with our Strawberry Ball in the

Riverside Park Hotel

Last year we had an unbelievable night.
The food was great, the princess'
were beautiful and the drink flowed.

If you missed it last year make sure
you don't make the same mistake again.
It really is a great night and a nice
start to the summer season.
